A note from the founder

I built DataVisitors because I wanted to see how people use a product without following them around. It counts the visit, not the person: no cookies on your visitors, nothing pooled or sold, and a public link that only ever shows totals. There are no customer quotes here yet, so every number on this site is counted from the product itself or marked as a sample.

Every answer traces to a screen in the app or a chapter of the manual. No response time is promised, because none has been committed to.

How are visitors counted without a cookie?

Every page load starts stateless and is counted by a keyed daily hash held in memory by the service. Nothing is written to the visitor's device until the project's regime or the visitor's consent allows it.

What does a public link show?

Aggregates: the headline, the series, top pages, sources, countries and devices. Never a visitor, a session or a trait. Revoke it and the address stops answering.

How do I get an account?

Join the waitlist with the address the invitation should go to. Invitations go out in the order people asked, and each one opens registration for that address alone for seven days.

Does it hold any certification?

No. No SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA or PCI DSS certification is held. The security page lists the practices that are actually implemented.
